[So, after a hard morning of adventuring, our heroes are having a much needed rest back at the inns with their prizes. Some people may be busily chatting over the different robot parts that were found scattered across the city, but the turtles have bigger fish to fry.

Literally.

The kitchen of the Sword, Shield, and Spear is a flurry of activity and delicious smells in between Rapunzel flitting about and Mikey and Raph following after her to give basic instructions. The construction of pizza is an art after all.]

It's real easy! I mean—I don't get the dough, but the important thing to remember is dough, sauce, toppings. The dough's just to hold everything else together.

I take it you haven't eaten much Italian food.

I've certainly never heard of Carmarthen, either. What is it like? Other than it has no pizza?

... Is there a princess and a king and a powerful wizard?

There is a King who no longer rules, a prince who will take the throne when he is of age, and . . . there are many powerful wizards.

That's amazing... it sounds just like a medieval fairytale.

Does that make you one of the wizards?

[tilts her head, then nods]

I am a mage, yes. Or a wizard. Whichever word suits, I suppose.

[Leaning forward a bit, excitedly]

Does that mean you can do things other than the fire?

--Come to think of it, I don't actually know what wizards do.

Wizards or mages will do whatever they wish to, honestly. Some are for hire, others become healers . . .

And I can do other things besides the fire, yes. I am also a healer.

Magical healing?

... How effective is it?

It would depend on the injury, but it is usually quite effective.

[It's like you can see the gears turning in his head. He leans forward a bit more and opens his mouth to say something--

... And then seems to rethink it, closing it. He seems to stifle whatever it was and leans back, trying again.]

That-- it sounds really useful. We have a first aid kit with us, but it's pretty rudimentary. I've been worried about it.

[tilts her head]

[Waves a hand]

Still, where you're from... in my world, children are often told fairytales about places exactly like that.

Ah . . . I have heard a bit about a man called Tolkien, too.
