[So, after a hard morning of adventuring, our heroes are having a much needed rest back at the inns with their prizes. Some people may be busily chatting over the different robot parts that were found scattered across the city, but the turtles have bigger fish to fry.

Literally.

The kitchen of the Sword, Shield, and Spear is a flurry of activity and delicious smells in between Rapunzel flitting about and Mikey and Raph following after her to give basic instructions. The construction of pizza is an art after all.]

It's real easy! I mean—I don't get the dough, but the important thing to remember is dough, sauce, toppings. The dough's just to hold everything else together.

They sent them out every year on my birthday. They sent one out to celebrate when I was born, and the story every year after was that they were supposed to be a light to guide me home. But at the kingdom, it was set up like a memorial... I just. I wonder what they thought all this time.

It'd been so long, that's the only thing they could think, isn't it? Even now, they'll never get their baby back. But the festival was still one for hope.

[Shakes her head] Those kids were laying flowers by my picture, but everyone said, the lanterns were the hope that I'd return one day. None of the people in town were sad.

Ah. I suppose that is evidence enough then.

[ shrugs ]

[Smiles, running her hands nervously through her hair.]

[ shakes his head. holds out the plate and the cup. ]

Okay. [Takes the dishes] Then go soak your feet.

[ shrugs, gets his boots back on ]

I tend to my physical needs as necessary. Food, sleep, sex, occasional medicine. This is hardly urgent.

[Makes another confused face at sex, this girl raised in isolation with only a fake mother for company sure doesn't seem to know what that is. But ignoring that for now, not important. BACK TO FROWNING.]
