[So, after a hard morning of adventuring, our heroes are having a much needed rest back at the inns with their prizes. Some people may be busily chatting over the different robot parts that were found scattered across the city, but the turtles have bigger fish to fry.

Literally.

The kitchen of the Sword, Shield, and Spear is a flurry of activity and delicious smells in between Rapunzel flitting about and Mikey and Raph following after her to give basic instructions. The construction of pizza is an art after all.]

It's real easy! I mean—I don't get the dough, but the important thing to remember is dough, sauce, toppings. The dough's just to hold everything else together.

An artificial thing. [Waves a hand dismissively.] Meant to substitute for something natural.

Yes. This realm is very strange. At first I thought it might belong to someone practicing powerful magic. Perhaps it still is.

But now it's really starting to give me the feeling of a clock that someone has started and left to its own devices.

Else a toy on a scale not commonly seen.

The figures hold the look of dolls - or puppets.

Do you think that we were just like them before we woke up?

The arrangement of the scene would imply it to be so.

And yet... here we stand, not creatures of invention and artifice but of flesh and blood.

Perhaps the other dolls will awaken some other day.

Not least because the sweep in town square's had his fingers pulled from their sockets.

Maybe they can be replaced from the place of industry.

Or returned to where they belong. I'm no great craftsman, but the joints of puppets are not often complicated things.
