[So, after a hard morning of adventuring, our heroes are having a much needed rest back at the inns with their prizes. Some people may be busily chatting over the different robot parts that were found scattered across the city, but the turtles have bigger fish to fry.

Literally.

The kitchen of the Sword, Shield, and Spear is a flurry of activity and delicious smells in between Rapunzel flitting about and Mikey and Raph following after her to give basic instructions. The construction of pizza is an art after all.]

It's real easy! I mean—I don't get the dough, but the important thing to remember is dough, sauce, toppings. The dough's just to hold everything else together.

For someone that wanted to avoid a factory you sure are eager to mess around with a cyborg's foot, Tempest.

[rolls her eyes]

A foot is a foot, yes? Whether there are metal bits stuck in it or rocks - it is all the same to me.

Yeah. I don't think you're seeing the issue here.

Because either I am not seeing it or I do not understand it, and I would like to understand it.

You know how flesh and bone doesn't react well when you stab through the wrong part?

It's the same problem. But with different prosthetic polymers, subreplacements for flesh. If you don't know what you're doing you can deactivate all sensitivity in a limb. I'm lucky I know even basics for the outside fo the feet; that's only because they're what I damage the most, and most of what I know ends in "don't touch that," courtesy of the Doc who takes care of me. He's the only guy I trust to really know what he's doing.

I do not know what those words mean . . . but is it the same . . . ah . . . layout as a normal foot?

It's based on it... I kind of zone out when he goes into details.

Not everything is human.

. . . Spock ears wouldn't be much of a mod. Besides, that's one of the few human parts I have left.

A bit of a stupid human, at least, for running into something to get melty bits in your foot, but human all the same.
