[ Over the murmur of conversations, explorations and violent attempts at escape, there comes a sound tick tick tick tick tick.............. CLICK.... The sky above snaps across the dome from blue to black... and everything goes dark.

A glow comes from the front door of each of the inns and one by one, you can see street lanterns begin to light up steadily past each of the gates.

The only flickering, organic light comes from above in the tower, spluttering high, high above everyone, through the slats of the closed shutters. After a moment, it's gone. ]

Not a one. Never seen this many mitra around, either. Met a talking turtle, though, that was pretty crazy.

Yeah... Well, back home we've got four main races, and they've all intermingled for years. I guess it's not like that where you're from?

...Most in Cepheus are of the race of men. The same in many other countries, or so I've heard, though the ones further to the north and east are more...

In any case, it seems whoever brought us either had variety in mind or nothing at all.
