[This room has an enormous, long rectangular table, seated with twenty high back chairs. A white table cloth covers the wood surface. Several colorful arrangements of cloth flowers color the room. Places have been set in front of each chair.]

... This seems more and more like a dream.

Do you have many dreams like this?

I've been having a lot of strange dreams with a recent job of mine, but I admit that the ears are new.

What kind of job would that be?

[dedoctionist]

I'm, uh ... sort of an apprentice.

[nyanotech]

In what field?

[dedoctionist]

Consulting detective.

[nyanotech]

Same as the man with the book.

[dedoctionist]

He's the one teaching me.

[nyanotech]

Master and apprentice?

[dedoctionist]

Don't let him hear you call him that.

[nyanotech]

Oh?

[dedoctionist]

I'd rather not let it go to his head. It's already big enough.

If he's good enough to learn from, it sounds like there might be a reason for that.
